Valentine's weekend was just a blast! We met Grandmary and Grandpa John in Pigeon Forge for a stay at Christmas Place and dinner at Dixie Stampede. This was a Valentine's and birthday weekend for Phil's mom. Ali loved Dixie Stampede so much. We sat on the South's side....of course.
Phil and I were chosen for a horse race and it was hilarious. The picture below was really dark, but I had to add it because Phil was SOOOO funny! I was laughing so hard I couldn't hardly run! We won for the South and paid for it with pulled muscles later...pitiful!
If you have not stayed at Christmas Place, you need to...especially during off season when the rates are low. We were so impressed with the place. Not to mention the singing Santa....with milk and cookies!
The big clock chimes Christmas carols every hour and then at 9pm it does a finale...really neat.
Santa is there on Thursday and Saturday nights..he was great.
